On the occasion of Kargil Diwas (26th July), NDTV in partnership with Fortis Healthcare launched a campaign to encourage organ donation in India. ‘More to give’ is a nationwide campaign aimed at sensitising people as well as encouraging them to pledge their organs in an effort to positively impact the well-being of the nation. The campaign ambassador is actor Irrfan Khan and he is lending his star power to the cause. “On Kargil Diwas we salute the spirit of all the countrymen who have fought and are fighting for our nation. I am proud to be associated with the ‘More to give’ organ donation initiative. I would urge all fellow Indians to support the cause and pledge to donate their organs,” he said.
